Yoga Mats

Look for something in the 4 to 6mm range, thick enough to protect your knees and elbows, but not so squishy you lose your footing in standing poses. Grip matters just as much as thickness, so a textured or moisture-wicking surface will serve you better once things get sweaty.

BAHE Super Grip Mat 6mm

BAHE Super Grip Mat 6mm

This mat is thick and affordable which we love, and even better is designed with an ultra-grippy textured top layer.

This one's built to last — it actually comes with a lifetime guarantee. The 6mm cushioning is thick enough to really protect your joints through long holds.

Lululemon Yoga Mat 5mm

Lululemon Yoga Mat 5mm

We love this one because it's reversible — flip to the grippy side for a sweaty flow, or the cushioned rubber side for something softer. The top layer soaks up moisture so you're not sliding around mid-flow.

Yoga Blocks

Cork blocks are firm, grippy, and get more reliable the sweatier things get — which makes them the better choice for standing poses, balance work, and anywhere you need a stable base. They're heavier than foam, but that weight is part of what makes them so solid underfoot.

Cork Yoga Block

Cork Yoga Block

A studio favourite for the natural cork finish — grippy, sturdy, and has a nicer feel than plastic. Light enough to carry around but solid enough to actually hold your weight.

Yoga Bolsters

The main thing is firmness, it should hold its shape under your weight instead of collapsing, especially when propped at an angle. Rectangular bolsters are the most versatile for restorative and yin, while round ones are great tucked under the knees or for heart openers.

Large Round Yoga Bolster

Large Round Bolster

This one is big enough to really sink into for restorative or yin poses. The cover unzips and pops in the wash too.

Foam Yoga Bolster

Foam Bolster

A lighter, more affordable option if you don't need anything huge. Easy to carry, easy to store, and still gives your knees or spine a nice gentle lift when you need it.

Knee Pads

Aim for somewhere around 15 to 30mm thick, enough to take the edge off hard floors without throwing off your alignment. A closed-cell material that resists sweat and won't flatten over time will hold up best in a shared studio.

Airex Kneeling Pad

Airex Kneeling Pad

The foam never soaks up sweat, so it stays fresh class after class. Just the right amount of padding for kneeling poses like camel or tabletop, without throwing off your balance.

Extra Large Kneeling Pad

Extra Large Kneeling Pad

We love this one for the extra thick, extra soft foam. At 30mm it's a very plush option — great if your knees need a bit more love during kneeling or seated work.
